RUBY FIELDS

Ruby Fields is a solo artist hailing from south of Sydney with a 5 piece band (including herself as the rhythm guitarist, Patrick Rogers on drums, Tas Wilson on bass, Gory Wright on lead guitar and Harry Joyce on keys/guitar/vocals) and they are easiest assigned to the genre of “indie rock”

In 2017, Ruby uploaded her debut track “I Want” to Triple J Unearthed and it was played on national radio (Triple J) that same day. Not long after, Field’s break out song “Dinosaurs” placed at #9 in the annual countdown on Triple J (Hottest 100) and was feverishly embraced by fans and industry alike. Fields’ has performed two Triple J Like A Versions, the first being “Unguarded Moment” by The Church, and the second being “Lovesong” by The Cure

Known in her career for her witty, authentic banter and electric live sets, the band has only grown in their professionalism and mastery of their craft. Fields’ prides herself and her crew on friendliness and dedication, which is reflected in the last few years of touring at a larger scale. Ruby has toured the country twenty times over, playing sold-out headline tours and performing with contemporaries such as Hockey Dad, San Cisco, Ocean Alley and Ball Park Music. Internationally, Fields’ has played in London and in Brighton as a part of The Great Escape 2019. She has been itching to grow the project internationally ever since.

Fields’ has delivered some of her most memorable performances at festivals, including her renowned set at Splendour in the Grass in 2019 to 20,000 people, as well as her Live at the Wireless recorded set at Laneway 2019. More recently, Fields’ performed at One Night Stand in Busselton to 17,000

Ruby has received many accolades over the years, most notably Fields’ received a #1 placement on the ARIA charts for her debut album “Been Doin’ It For A Bit” (2021) beating the likes of Drake and Lil Nas X. The album also received nominations for Album of the Year (Triple J) as well as Rolling Stone’s “Best Record”. Her song “Dinosaurs” is also on the cusp of receiving Double Platinum status and was nominated for “Best Rock Work” by APRA

Now, Ruby Fields has finally released her long awaited album, “Small Achievements” (24 April, 2026) and has completed her largest national headline tour to date. Including pop-up events, Fields’ wanted to elevate the experience of the performance with a well structured set and lighting, while still featuring some laughs and stories about the songs, including a performance on the piano. When she’s not on the road or writing, you’ll find Fields’ building and repairing guitars on the south coast.
